The Tired Of Being Broke tour gets sponsorship support from Carver Federal Savings Bank. 

KAMEKO has teamed up with Interscope Distribution to release his debut album Tired Of Being Broke. The album features tracks produced by BET jazz artist of the year winner Marc Cary, Paulo Goude, the son of legendary singer/model Grace Jones and fashion icon Jean- Paul Goude, Nayrok Udab sister of icon Erykah Badu and M1 of Dead Prez.

The single will be available on iTunes and other digital outlets on August 25, 2010. The full album will be in stores Fall 2010. On the single “Tired of Being Broke,” KAMEKO wrestles with the despair of poverty and social economic injustice with a searing vocal delivery over a crunching rock guitar rhythm. The song was inspired by his personal struggles and observations of impoverished ghettos throughout the world. “With this song I am urging people to rise together. Regardless of your situation please know that struggle makes us more resilient and that strength and determination always equals success. Wealth is a state of mind, now claim it.”

Carver Bank was founded in 1948 to serve African-American communities whose residents, businesses and institutions had limited access to mainstream financial services. Today, Carver is the largest African-American operated bank in the United States and they have joined KAMEKO in support of the “Tired of Being Broke” Musical Stimulus Gift Package. The gift package includes product giveaways and coupons from major sponsors to provide those in need with discounts on food, clothing and various other financial incentives.

KAMEKO’s Tired of Being Broke album will introduce the world to Evalt: evolutionary alternative music. The album will take listeners on a sonic journey with a unique fusion of rock, pop, soul, electro and hip-hop. The album features songs infused with honesty and emotions, whether through funky beats that make you dance or sharp lyrics that make you see love, life and the spirit world differently.
